ALHCS Student Council Developmental Seminar 2018

4-ALHCS Student Council PicOn Wednesday 24th October, 2018 the Youth Affairs Division of the Department of Youth and Culture, in collaboration with the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School (ALHCS), successfully trained 14 members of the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School Student Council.

The training, which was held at La Vue Boutique Hotel, was facilitated by the Director of Youth and Culture, Mr. Bren Romney; Principal of the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School, Mrs. Rita Carty; and Mr. John ‘Christopher’ Richardson owner of Rich Pearl Global Training & Coaching Consulting.
The seminar focused on developing the members of the Student Council in the areas of student and operational leadership, positive attributes of a leader such as honesty, integrity, influence, commitment and passion and their various roles and responsibilities. The training also focused on strategic planning for the Council over the next two years.
