Every year Runway Anguilla, a small, yet powerful non-profit organization on the island, take pride in assisting families in need to purchase children’s school supplies (books, uniforms and more), alongside their ongoing commitment to assisting the elderly and the vulnerable in accessing basic life needs. In the face of the challenges of Irma, it was not feasible to stage their Annual Fashion Show and Silent Auction, but Runway Anguilla leveraged the opportunity to create a raffle featuring the enviable prize of a Five Course Gourmet Dinner for 12. This prize will be prepared and served by the highly regarded Chef Sweets of Ani Villas. FLOW Anguilla was the lucky winner of the raffle draw which was recently featured live on Lloyd Gumbs’ Facebook coverage. The group was able to raise in excess of USD4,000, with this venture, and was able to meet all the needs that were presented for funding – no family went unserved.

Ira Bloom, representing Ani Villas was delighted to come on board as the main sponsor and says: “Ani Anguilla, was honored to co-operate with Project Runway Anguilla on their fundraising initiative this year. Year in and year out they provide critical assistance to school kids and the elderly – truly a great service to the island. Excited to have the winners, the Flow Team, with us for what we promise will be a special evening.”

Nathalie Le Sénéchal was happy to sponsor the wines paired with the fabulous menu: “Grands Vins De France is honored to work with Runway Anguilla on this year’s fundraising project, and takes the opportunity to congratulate them for their truly great work year after year. And, of course, congratulations to the winner FLOW, assuring them of a great evening at Ani Villas.”

Jade Reymond-Richardon, Commercial Manager at FLOW, was elated: “FLOW’s Management and staff would like to officially thank Runway Anguilla for the opportunity to continuously partner with them. This year, in true FLOW fashion, we wanted to ensure that we found a way to contribute to the organization’s efforts. Purchasing tickets only seemed natural. We are truly honored and excited that we won! We look forward to using this opportunity as a means to celebrate our 47th anniversary in the Anguilla community with our management team. To all parties involved in this fundraiser, we express our sincerest gratitude!”

Special thanks to Rene and Hi Tek for the generous design contributions this year, and to all persons and businesses who supported the initiative through the purchase of tickets. Together we have made a meaningful difference!
