The Valley, Anguilla, 03 October 2018 – Father of three Renford Kelsick is a happy man. He is $65,494 better off, after winning big at the Caribbean Lottery’s Pick 4 game. He purchased his ticket at Weesie’s in Anguilla. “I am all excited!” he declares.
“Now, I have bills to pay!” said Mr. Kelsick, who is a very busy radio announcer and says he feels “ecstatic” at his win. He said that he will put the remainder of his win aside, saving for “a wetting” (a rainy day). The married man is a member of the Lions Club and travels to other Caribbean islands in that capacity, so the funds will come in handy.
Mr. Kelsick chooses more or less the same winning numbers each time he plays – either the year of his marriage, or his car license number. This time the numbers proved to be a winning combination. Mr. Kelsick has three children and three grandchildren: “All my children are working.”
“We are delighted that one of our Caribbean Lottery players will now have a great financial boost,” said Ms Paula Williams, Site Operations Manager, Caribbean Lottery. “Pick 4 is a very popular game. We at The Caribbean Lottery warmly congratulate Mr. Kelsickand wish him and his family all the best as they enjoy their win.”
Mr. Kelsick says he has been playing Pick 4 every day “since inception.”
There are four Pick 4 draws per day: morning, midday, sunset and evening. Players can select numbers in advance; and tickets may be purchased up to five minutes ahead of each draw. The Caribbean Lottery advises players to check their play slip before handing it to a Lottery retailer. The Lottery terminal will print a ticket, which is the proof of purchase and entry into the draw. And remember – always check your ticket to ensure it has the numbers you selected and the draws in which you want to play.
