GIVEBACK TO HELP TOURISM SECTOR

The Department of Probation’s Community Service Unit collaborated with the Anguilla Archeological and Historical Society (AAHS) on a giveback project on Saturday 29th September 2018. This activity took place at the Amerindian and Archaeological Interpretation Centre at the Fountain Cavern located at Shoal Bay East.
This initiative was intended to assist in the restoration process of the entrance and trail leading to the historic Fountain site which is being developed by the Ministry of Tourism.

In attendance were President of the AAHS, Ms. Jansie Webster, Vice President, Mr. Ken Banks, along with Ms. Jasmin Garraway. René Henry the Community Service Officer, residents of Zenaida Haven, Mr. John Millington and Ms. Shanaz Allie – both Juvenile Care Workers at Zenaida Haven – completed the project team.
Special thanks is extended to International Wine and Spirts (IWAS) and the Department of Health Protection for their donations towards this project. The Department of Probation remains committed to assisting organizations across Anguilla in promoting safety and assisting with the cleanliness of the island.
