The University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus Guild of Students – Anguilla Chapter is pleased to announce Mr. Ruiz Thomas and Ms. Codisha Webster as the winners of the UWI Open Campus Anguilla – Student Guild Chair Award for Semester Two 2017/2018. This is the first term that we have had joint winners. Mr. Thomas received the Award for fourth consecutive time. The awards aim at highlighting the academic achievements of students at the UWI Open Campus Anguilla.
The Recognition Award is presented each semester by the Executive Body of the local Student Guild. To qualify, applicants:
? Must be registered students at the Anguilla Open Campus in an Associates, Undergraduate or Postgraduate programme;
? Must have completed a minimum of 5 Undergraduate or 2 Postgraduate courses;
? Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and above;
? Must have completed a minimum of two courses in semester.
The selection process is facilitated by the UWI Alumni Association Anguilla Chapter.
The Anguilla Student Guild Executive is extending heartiest congratulations to Mr. Thomas and Ms. Webster on their achievements.
The Guild is also wishing the students of the UWI Open Campus, as well as all students on Anguilla, a rewarding and successful semester as they continue to strive for excellence.
