The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Anguilla is observing 2018 as the Year Of The Child with a special Children’s Ministry Crusade that will be held at the Mount Fortune Church from September 1st through 8th.
Pastor Trent Berg explained: “We are really excited about this crusade. Our churches across the island have set out to have a number of activities where our children and adolescents can be involved in ministry in the church. One of our aims is to start off the 2018/2019 school year just right. We realized that there is no better way to do that than to turn the eyes of the children on Jesus.
“The best way to do that, we thought, was to have the children tell their friends about Jesus. Hence, the Children’s Ministry Department decided to have a Children’s Ministry Crusade with children preaching and conducting every other facet of the services, including singing, preaching and praying.”
This will be a one-week event starting on Saturday, September 1st and concluding on Saturday September 8th. Saturdays’ Sabbath sessions will be at 10:30 a.m., while nightly week services will begin at 7:00 p.m. There will be no service on Thursday night.”
