The St Mary’s Branch of the Mothers’ Union extends sincere thanks and appreciation to our Patron Bishop L. Errol Brooks, the clergy, ACWA, the Brotherhood of St. Andrews, the congregations, sponsors and all well-wishers who supported our 5th annual tea party.
The tea party which took place at the Old Boys’ School on the afternoon of Thursday, 28 June 2018, was a success. The event afforded attendees an opportunity to socialize in a friendly and relaxing environment.
The high light of the evening was the complimentary live string-band music of Ash Hodge and company, which added to the flavour and taste of the tea and goodies.
Mothers’ Union’s aim is to be transformational. Our worldwide fellowship of over four million members brings Christian care to families of all kinds. The grassroots nature of our locally-based membership means that the focus of Mothers’ Union is on promoting marriage and building stable family life within local communities.
This care is delivered through our three strategic steps as we:
• Pray for relationships to be flourishing and loving
• Enable development of all kinds: economic, relational and personal so that family life is strengthened
• Campaign for social justice for those on the margins and for greater recognition of the value of stable family life
Mothers’ Union has members in 83 countries across the world. These members seek to serve people in their communities through outreach projects and various programmes. Members work tirelessly, offering Christian care for families, regardless of faith or background.
