On Monday 25th June, 2018 iSpeak Autism Association received a Certificate of Registration as a newly accredited organisation from the Department of Youth and Culture (Ministry of Social Development).
iSpeak Autism Association is a non-profit organisation that is directed by the Founder and President, Ms. Annishka White. The mission is to create awareness about the autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays – and advocate for the acceptance of persons, living in Anguilla, with the disorder and developmental delays.
As a newly registered and accredited organisation, the iSpeak Autism Association, is now eligible for funding from the Department of Youth and Culture to support projects that empower young people and families dealing with the spectrum disorder.
The Department remains committed to providing support to organisations on Anguilla that are engaged in initiatives to further nurture, develop and empower the nation’s youth.
Members of the various youth organisations on Anguilla, which have not yet been registered or accredited by the Department, are encouraged to contact the Department of Youth and Culture, Youth Affairs Division by telephone (264) 498 3792 or email Jocelyne.mills@gov.ai. The registration and accreditation process is used to determine an organisation’s eligibility to receive funding from the Department of Youth and Culture.
