Anguilla Social Security Board Announces Appointment of New Chairman

The Social Security Board has announced the appointment of a new Chairman of its Board of Directors and one new Board member.

The leadership of the Board was taken over by Mr. Sean Richard, effective 1st July 2018. Mr. Richard, an existing member of the Board, since its appointment in 2015, will serve in the capacity as Chairman and Employer Representative for two years. His term of office will expire on 30th June 2020.

Joining the Board of Directors, and filling the vacant post of Employer Representative, is Mr. Romez Webster. His appointment is with effect from 1st July 2018 and will expire on 30th November 2019.

Both appointments are as a result of the expiration of Mr. Russel Reid’s term as Chairman of the Board on 24th June 2018. In appreciation of Mr. Reid’s service, members of the Board, Management and Staff bade farewell and expressed best wishes to him at a get-together at the Social Security Office in June.

Director of Social Security, Mr. Timothy Hodge, on behalf of the Board, thanked Mr. Russell Reid for his valuable service rendered as Chairman of the Board during his 3-year tenure, and wished him all the best in his future endeavours.

Selwyn Horsford – Deputy Chairman/Government Representative
Sheila Richardson-Hodge – Employee Representative
Apostle Lucien MacDonna – Employee Representative
Keil Connor – Government Representative
Romez Webster – Employer Representative
Timothy Hodge – Director of Social Security/Ex-Officio
