Hon Mia Mottley,
Leader of the Barbados Labour Party
Roebuck Street
Bridgetown,
BARBADOS

Dear Hon Prime Minister,
It is with excitement and pleasure that we greet your resounding success at the polls in the May 22, 2018 general election in Barbados.
You and your team fought an ideas-driven, principled campaign, and the people of Barbados have rewarded you with their vote and confidence.
We cannot help but note the historic proportions of your victory, especially in terms of the depth of the mandate.
But equally important, you, a most talented and visionary daughter of Barbados, now have the honor of becoming the first female prime minister of your country.
Being a woman in politics as well, your journey and your victory will serve as an inspiration to the causes for which we labour in the political vineyard in Anguilla.
We wish you and the incoming government great success in your task of rehabilitation and renewal.
