ycThe Princess Margaret Secondary School from St. John, Antigua, Business Studies Students ended an Educational Trip on Friday 15th June, 2018 with much excitement and confidence. Accompanied and supervised by their Business Studies Teacher, Ms. Zona Vincere Barthley-Cochrane, the fourteen (14) students arrived on Anguilla’s soil on Sunday, 10th June, 2018 not knowing what to expect from their venturous quest of hands-on work experience away from their homeland, Antigua.

The students, who were between 15 to 19 years of age, started off the week with an island tour on Monday 14th June, 2018 which ended at Sandy Ground beach around 12 noon. The vibrant group of students mouthed that the island is indeed beautifully adorned with lovely beaches, and a must for a honeymoon experience!

1. Ministry of Social Development
2. National Chronic Disease Unit
3. Immigration Department
4. Physical Planning Department
5. Information Technology Department (D.I.T.E.S.)
6. Department of Social Development
7. National Commercial Bank of Anguilla (NCBA)
8. General Post Office
9. Radio Anguilla Information and Broadcasting
10. Registry of Commercial Activities
11. Environmental Health Unit
12. Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, Utilities and Housing (MICUH)

Special thanks is extended to the Heads of the above mentioned Departments, Ministries and Banking Institution for partnering with the Youth Affairs Division of the Department of Youth and Culture in this worthwhile venture of welcoming and embracing our neighboring island’s young people on their educational experience.

The Antiguan Business Studies Students truly enjoyed the friendly, warm and embracing experience you gave them and extend thanks for an experience that they will always remember!
