Much progress has been made by B’s Construction Company in redesigning the top portions of the Rodney MacArthur Rey Auditorium which were considerably damaged by Hurricane Irma on September 6, 2017.
Most, if not all, of the top portions of the building are being reconstructed from concrete, thus providing a more durable structure as the 2018 hurricane season approaches.
The work is being financed from a special fund under the auspices of the Governor’s Office. It is estimated that the work should be completed by the end of next month.

The Auditorium is administered as part of the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School. Apart from being used for various school activities, it is also normally available for community and church events among other purposes.
