Research has consistently shown that when school and community work together, students achieve more and are better prepared to be, in turn, positive contributing members of the community.
The ALHCS is grateful to all its community partners who assist in any way, shape or form to the realization of the school’s Mission. The school year does not unfold without many an appeal to the community for support in various forms. Thank you to all who respond positively.
This week’s column highlights some recent collaborative efforts as teachers sought and received the help of community partners in delivering and enriching the curriculum.

Again, heartfelt gratitude to the entire community for their support as we strive to realize the Vision and the Mission of the School.

ALHCS VISION: A positive, warm, predictable and safe school environment where educators and students are respectful, responsible and resilient and where learning is truly valued and creativity and innovation are the norm.
ALHCS MISSION: The ALHCS is committed to providing a safe and healthy learning environment conducive to the delivery of, first, a wide ranging curriculum that will allow all students the opportunity to excel, and, second, a personal development programme that will prepare all students to take their place as responsible individuals with the skills and attributes to contribute positively toward Anguillian society and an increasingly globalized world.
