UNICEF Donates to Youth and Community Centres

Mr. Bren Romney- Director of the Department of Youth and Culture on Friday, October 20th 2017 presented Recreational Kits, donated by United Nations International Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to all Six (6) Youth and Community Centres. The presentation was made at the Centre Managers Quarterly Meeting where the focus was on post Hurricane Irma updates and the recovery efforts being undertaken at each Centre.
The Centre Managers were grateful for the Recreational Kits which contain Board Games, Balls, skipping Ropes, and various other sporting equipment. The Director expressed his gratitude to UNICEF for their contribution, and hopes that the Centre Managers will find the equipment useful in carrying out their mandate at the Centres.
