The Department of Youth and Culture congratulates three (3) of our public primary schools’ Student Councils for successfully completing their registration and accreditation with the Department. We are pleased to make public that, to date, all of our public and private primary schools Student Councils are now fully accredited. The three (3) recent accredited primary schools Student Councils are:
? The Orealia Kelly Primary School (OKPS)
? The Vivien Vanterpool Primary School (VVPS)
? The Valley Primary School (VPS)
Registered and accredited organisations can apply for government grants and contributions, through the Department of Youth of Culture to support projects geared towards the development of young people. All projects must be consistent with the Mission and Vision of the Department of Youth and Culture (Ministry of Social Development). Additionally, registered and accredited organisations are eligible for membership in the Anguilla National Youth Council and can join the Department’s Youth Connect Network.
