The Royal Anguilla Police Force, on Friday 7th July, 2017 administered the Oath of Office to eleven (11) new police officers at Police Headquarters.
The oath taken by the officers before Commissioner of Police Mr. Paul Morrison was witnessed by Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Elliott Forbes other senior officers of the RAPF and family and friends of the new officers.
“Police officers often times during their career need the support of family and friends because the job can be stressful at times”, said Commissioner Morrison in welcoming the new officers and their family and friends. “We are indeed happy to see that family and friends have taken the time out to witness this very important step in these new officers’ lives.”
The new officers are now awaiting their departure to Barbados where they will undergo some seven (7) months of training before they return and take up their various posting with the organization.
The officers are WPC 111 Lanique Connor, WPC 114 Janille Browne, WPC 115 Dawnisha Wilson, WPC 116 Akaila Laing, PC 117 Tariq Harrigan, PC 118 Neshach Gumbs, PC 119 Peter Carbon, PC 120 Laroy Carty, PC 121 Ainsley Benjamin, PC 122 Deon Vanterpool and PC 123 Venroy Findlay.
The Commissioner and all other ranks of the RAPF welcome the new officers into the organization which brings the number of enlisted officers to 115.
