Youth Team
Youth Team

A team of five (5) athletes, accompanied by 2 officials, is representing Anguilla at the 6th edition of the Commonwealth Youth Games being held from 18th to 23rd July 2017 in Nassau, Bahamas.
The team comprises:
Road Cyclists: Xavi Brookes and Jamari Bryan
Boxer: Curlun Richardson
Lawn tennis player: XanderOwen-Vasilis
200 m track athlete: T’Kailah Richardson

The team is managed by Coach Heather Richardson. She being assisted by cycling specialist, Coach Timothy Richardson.
The 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games are the first Commonwealth Games event to be held in the Caribbean for over 50 years. The Games are also the largest international sporting event ever hosted in the Bahamas, and the largest ever edition of the Youth Games with up to 1300 athletes, aged 14 -18, representing 70 countries. The Games promise to be the most inspiring and immersive mix of impactful sporting competition, personal development and new Commonwealth friendships.

The Anguilla Commonwealth Games Association wishes the team much success.
