Local Entrepreneur and Fitness Professional, Hilroy Alfred, of Ruff Training Sessions, took a team of 14 individuals to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to compete at Tough Mudder on 20th May, 2017!
Tough Mudder is hosted throughout North America and Europe annually, and Mr. Alfred and his team made history for the second time, being the only corporate team from Anguilla and the Caribbean Region to participate in this 10-12 mile team-oriented mud obstacle course.
The team completed the course, exceeding its record time at last year’s event despite the increased intensity of a tougher terrain and unfavorable weather conditions. Completion of this course is testament to the team’s physical and mental strength as well as its ability to cooperate as a squad.
Although much hard-work and preparation went into organizing this venture, it would not have been a resounding success without the help and assistance of the team’s highly-valued sponsors as well as the general public who so willing contributed at the fundraisers.
