On Monday 24th April, Mr. Neville Hamilton of JNH Professional Training Institute, a newly licenced business located within the Mason Complex commenced a Defensive Technique Training course with nine officers from JTR Security Services.
The training involved various topics such as:
– Use of force
– Medical consideration
– Application of straight arm and wrist locks
– Working as a team
– Defensive strikes
– Breakaway techniques
– Drawing and striking with the baton
The officers exhibited themselves well and achieved above average results at the end of the training.
This is the first for the JTR Security Services in this type of training. This effort should be applauded since it shows that the managers seek to develop and improve the safety of staff and overall performance of the Company.
The course concluded on Friday 5th May 2017 with the distribution of certificates.
