Artesha Rewrites Anguilla’s 200m Record

Move over Rosanna, there is a new 200m record holder and her name is Artesha Richardson. She clocked 24.37 seconds to place 5th in the Bobcat Classic which was held in San Marcos Texas, today Saturday 29 April, 2017.

The previous record of 24.80 secondsvwas set by Rosanna Browne at the 1991 Tokyo World Championships. Artesha’s Coach, Mr. Sheffield did indicate that after Carifta she will run improved times in her 200m, as she ran a 25.6 split in her 400m finals.

The Black amd Gold track club would like to congratulate Artesha on her achievement. A special thank to #CoachSheffield and the #MeanGreen of UNT, for pushing Artesha to new heights.
