Digicel at colour me run

April 6, 2017- The Valley Anguilla On Saturday April 1st 2017, the Digicel team supported I.C.T of the Education Department with a fund raising event dubbed ‘Colour Me Tech Run’.
The race featured 5 colour stops where persons who volunteered from various companies would splash powder and paint on the runners to boost their energies during the race.
The Colour Me Tech Run event emphasized fun over competition. Open to first-time runners as well as families and children, the event was for both runners and walkers.
Registration fees are being solely donated to the National ICT Fund which will go towards the development of I.C.T labs and much needed equipment in the schools.
Runners were dressed in clean white T-shirts, and pass through 5 colour stations, one every kilometre. Each colour station was associated with a different colour and Digicel being the last station in Extraordinary and bold Red.
At the finish line all runners received a participation medal and united with all the runners at a small closing event featuring food vendors, various DJ’s and a water truck to rinse all the paint and powder away.
