In its 5th year, under the theme ‘Grace Catapulting Grace’, Catapulted Conference commenced on April 7th with Catapulted Festival 2017- Grace Magnifical – at the Raymond E. GuishardStadium. The musical festival, which was purposed with giving God thanks for His grace over Anguilla since 1967, was an awesome event. It opened with performances by Kamal Vanterpool, T’arah Niles, Christian Fellowship Dancers and Shekinah Glory Dancers of Atlanta – and specially featured localartistes such as Danielle Bowens and Minster Susan Best. Regional guest artist Positive; and internationally, GrammyAward winning Israel & New Breed contributed to a grand evening of celebration.

The 6-day conference continued with DYC sponsored Entrepreneur Expo Symposium at the JC Recreational Gym,where budding entrepreneurs in Anguilla displayed their businesses and participated in open panel discussion with successful persons in various fields. Split Sessions, themed ‘Released By Grace’, where young adults, teens, men and women were treated to powerful discussions and exercises for self-development, were conducted. Additionally, there were day sessions geared to building promising spiritual leaders, encouraging local pastors, and planning to marketing Anguilla as a Christian and Conference Tourism Destination. The latter was sponsored by the Anguilla Tourist Board and was indeed promising.

The major conference sessions were held at nights at JC Recreational Centre, for worship and praise to God, with guest speakers Dr. Allan Isaac, Bishop Robert Stearns, Bishop Willie Thornton and Dr. Dwayne Hardin. God’s Catapulting Grace was the focus for thanksgiving and study throughout the enriching event.

Catapulted Conference seeks to align, propel and position persons into their God given destinies. Catapulted Conference is a collaborated effort with several pastors and churches hosted by the Apostolic Faith Church.

Catapulted Conference is overwhelmingly grateful to the gracious organizations and persons, who willingly contributed to its execution in 2017, namely: GB Ferries, Gotcha, Highway Rent-a-Car, Sandy Island, daVida’s, Ocean Echo, Hi-Tek Signs, Navene Miller, Straw Hat, Ken’s Barbecue, Ron’s Sign Shop, Bennie’s Travel & Tours, Titanium Sounds and Merchants Market.

Specific to Catapulted Festival, the Governement of Anguilla, the Anguilla Social Security Board, The Reef by Cuisinart, Leviticus, Sandy Island, Calyspo Charters, Coffee O’Clock, Safety Step, Paramount Pharmacy, Tackle Box, Romcan and Ashley’s, Raymond Guishard Stadium, NBR, KLASS FM, RADIO AXA, UBR and KOOL FM are greatly thanked.

To the Anguilla Tourist Board for sponsoring the Tourism Focus Group which met to formulate ‘A Plan for Marketing Anguilla as a Christian & Conference Tourism Destination’, and to the DYC for sponsoring the Entrepreneurs Expo, Catapulted Conference deeply values your collaboration as we work together to propel Anguilla forward!

To all the pastors, churches, volunteer workers, conference attendees and all who cheerfully supported in any way, seen or unseen, your gift was significant. THANK YOU and may God richly bless you – and may God bless Anguilla as we give Him thanks for bringing us to this milestone of 50!
