Guild of Student Chair Award – Semester one 2016

uwiThe University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus Guild of Students is pleased to announce Mr. Ruiz Thomas as the winner of the inaugural UWI Open Campus Anguilla – Student Guild Chair Award for semester one 2016/2017.
The Guild of Student Executive (2016/2017), on recommendation by a student, introduced this award. The award is geared to highlight the academic achievements of students of the UWI Open Campus Anguilla, in each semester, and students would receive a Certificate of Recognition. The students must meet the minimum criteria:
• Registered student of the Anguilla Open Campus (associates, undergraduate or postgraduate)
• Must have completed a minimum of 5 Undergrad & 2 Postgrad courses
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and above
• Must complete a minimum of two courses in semester

The Executive extends sincere congratulation to Mr. Thomas, and would like to encourage all students to strive for excellence. The Guild of Student Executive extends special thanks to E’s Oven, and staff of the UWI Open Campus Anguilla, and believes an initiative such as this would inspire students to do their best each semester.
