Once again the students, teachers and parents of the Alwyn Alison Richardson Primary school (AARPS) joined in celebrations for World Book Day. On Friday 3rd March 2017 children dressed up as their favourite book characters which encouraged them to choose books and read. During the day stories were read to students by staff from the Anguilla Public Library and teachers of the school. Prior to this day, students wrote book reports and poems and read them in school and over the radio. It was a fun and educational event and we look forward to next year.
We would like to say a special thank you to Casilda Thomas and Kurlida Richardson (Library Staff), students, teachers and parents who helped to make the event a success.
