The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis presents its compliments to the Office of the Chief Minister of Anguilla and wishes to express how saddened we are to learn of the passing of James Ronald Webster, Anguilla’s First Chief Minister.
The Ministry extends its unfeigned sympathy to the Government and people of Anguilla, and in particular to his family. Mr. Webster’s contribution to the development of Anguilla through his courageous leadership and his role in the Anguillan Revolution, is testimony to the love he had for his country and people. He has indeed left an indelible mark on Anguilla, through his determination and illustrious service and it is our prayer that his legacy will live on.
It is the sincere hope of the Ministry therefore, that during this time of bereavement, the people of Anguilla will draw comfort and strength from the memories of the outstanding contributions made by Anguilla’s revolutionary leader, who is revered as the “Father of the Nation”.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis avails itself of the opportunity to renew to the Office of the Chief Minister of Anguilla, the assurances of its highest consideration.
