Cap Juluca’s current owners, Charles and Linda Hickox, officially reopened their idyllic all-beachfront luxury boutique resort for the winter season on Tuesday, November 1.
Mr. and Mrs. Hickox flew to Anguilla for the reopening which was celebrated with a staff party, on Monday evening, at Blue Restaurant. “We want to welcome you back for our 30th Anniversary Season,” Mr. Hickox told the many employees. “As you all know, we were in the process of a deal this summer but, unfortunately on September 30, despite our having given the prospective buyer four requested extensions, he was unable to close. Right now we have been out of contact for over 30 days and it is unknown as to whether the deal will be resurrected. That being said, we are here to let you know that it’s business as usual and we will run Cap Juluca as we have in the past by making make our guests feel very special, which is why they keep returning. We have repeat guests of over 25 years and we thank you very much for your support.”
Linda Hickox, who joined in expressing thanks to the staff said: “It’s our amazing guest experience that has put us head and shoulders above the competition with you, our gracious and devoted staff, pampering our destination travelers from around the globe and making them feel at home from the moment they arrive. There is no other property-anywhere – that has the Heart and Soul that Cap Juluca does and, for that, Charles and I can never express our gratitude – we are truly blessed to have you as such a wonderful extended family. We are here tonight to celebrate you and the beginning of our 30th season. We had a wonderful season last year and look forward to the many guests making lasting vacation memories this year as they enjoy our exciting winter line-up of activities and all that Cap Juluca and Anguilla have to offer.”
