On Tuesday, 11th October 2016, Alwyn A Richardson Primary School was full of ‘Heroes’! Children invited their heroes (dads, granddads, uncles, cousins, older brothers or any male figure they considered their hero) to come and visit them in school. There were presentations by some showing the children what they do at work as well as guitar playing, singing, story-telling and speeches. The highlight was a basketball match with students vs. the ‘Heroes. A great time was had by all. It was a great success and we intend to do it again. Thank you to all who participated, and we hope to see more next year.
