Dr. Leonard Richardson, son of Dulcie and the late Constantine Richardson, has returned home to give back to the community that helped to nurture him. Born in 1967 at North Side, Anguilla, the same time as the birth of our nation, he has truly exemplified the best in all of us.
Dr. Richardson holds an MD degree from Howard University College of Medicine, and he completed a joint residency training program at Michigan State University, Kalamazoo Center for medical studies and at Howard University Hospital in Internal Medicine. He then joined the United States Air Force and was trained in Military and Aerospace Medicine. He served with distinction and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel serving in operations Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. As a civilian, he worked as a physician and started his own medical practice, Kingdom Medicine, PA, which has grown to six locations.
His personal journey from birth, growing up in the Caribbean, through the medical field and the United States Air Force, was recently captured in the book, Determined to Practice – An Ancient Calling to Provide the Highest Quality of Healthcare. This is currently available at Coral Reef book store and Best Buy in Anguilla. It is also available at Amazon Kindle, http://amazon.com , and Barnes & Noble Booksellers. The book provides lessons of entrepreneurial and private practice successes from one generation to the next. For more information about the book, visit http://determinedtopractice.com.
