Csaesare Wattley, fitness entrepreneur and owner of Transpharm Ltd, a Nutritional Supplements, Fitness, Events & Lifestyle Company along with The Dungeon Gym, threw their weight around this past weekend at St Maarten’s “Fittest on the Rock”.
The “Fittest on the Rock” Event was launched in St Maarten in 2015 and took place under the tent at Port de Plaisance over 2 days – June 25th & 26th. The event hosted close to 50 athletes of various disciplines, all vying to walk – maybe even at times crawl away with the most medals and more importantly the bragging rights!
Team TranspharmNATION represented Anguilla in full force with over 15 competitors and entrants into almost every event and gained the following results:
• Myron Connor 2 Gold 1 Silver 1 Bronze
• Michael Connor 1 Gold
• Hilroy Alfred 4 Silver
• Duquaine Brooks 1 Silver 4 Bronze
• Geshaun Clark 6 Gold 3 Silver 2 Bronze
• Orin Gumbs 1 Gold 1 Silver
• Lavie Hobson 1 Gold
• Linette Sasso 1 Bronze
• Kelver Richardson 1 Gold
• Calla Gumbs 1 Silver 1 Bronze
Wattley commended the team for their flagship participation at the competition and stated that it had been excellent promotion for Transpharmation X, taking place August 19-21st 2016. Transpharmation X is the 3rd in a fitness event series that took place in 2013 and 2014, then known as Transpharmation Weekend. He expressed gratitude to Dungeon Gym and affiliated trainers for assisting in the coordination of participation as well as to all the team members for going all out and representing the brand.
Mirabelle West of Mpire, the production manager for Transpharmation X, stated that plans were well underway for the summer event, with a heightened interest from neighboring islands and international fitness athletes. “In the initial first years of the event we managed to produce something innovative and rugged that was seamlessly executed, well thought out and enjoyed by both competitors and the viewing public”.
There is a definite drive by the organizing committee – all fitness enthusiasts – to use events like this to boost short stay tourism and utilize state of the art fitness events as a promotional tool and interactive platform to attract regional and international visitors.
Congratulations to all who took part in this weekend’s competition and good luck to all competitors preparing for the next level at Transpharmation X. Logon on to www.transpharmnation.com for event information and to subscribe for updates.
