St. Mary’s Preschool has graduated the largest number of children of all the pre and primary schools this year in Anguilla so far – a total of ninety-four. The boys and girls will now be entering the various primary schools on the island as of September coming.

Mrs. Hazel Brooks, Principal of the preschool, spoke at the graduation ceremony at the Rodney Mac Arthur Rey Auditorium, where the event was held on Wednesday afternoon. “I am indeed proud of you, as you graduate,” she told the students. “You are about to enter primary school to begin your formal educational journey. I wish you all the best and encourage you to ‘Dream Big and Spread Your Wings’. Take on new challenges. Be kind, safe and respectful. Do all you can to make your parents, teachers, family and friends proud.
The feature address was delivered by Ms Lisa Rey, Sales and Marketing Manager at Radio Anguilla. “I want to say to the parents to encourage your children to pursue whatever dreams they may have,” said the now grown-up former St. Mary’s Preschool student. “I am urging parents to push their children to the highest level to ensure that they achieve those dreams.”

The ceremony was chaired by Mr. Ash Hodge, a senior employee at the Social Security Office and Chairman of the St. Mary’s Preschool Board.
