ANGUILLA’S BODYBUILDERS CLAIM TOP PLACES AT THE 6th ANNUAL INTER-ISLAND BODYBUILDING FITNESS AND PHYSIQUE CHAMPIONSHIP IN ST MAARTEN

Anguilla’s bodybuilders were definitely a force to reckon with as several of its athletes were triumphant at the recently held 6th Annual Inter-Island Bodybuilding, Fitness and Physique Championship at Casino Royale in Maho, St Maarten.
Emmanuel Jeffers, Geshaune Clarke and Verdine Connor who competed in the Middle Weight Bodybuilding category claimed first, second and third places respectively. Clarke was also named overall Best Poser.

McCiver Peters won third place in Bodybuilding Heavy.
Macchwir Lewis captured first place in the Physique Tall and was also the overall Physique winner and Duquaine Brooks placed 3rd in Physique Short.
Roxann Pinnock claimed second place and Deidra Bell placed fifth in the Bikini category.
Michael Connor and Vernon Carty also competed in the show. The Anguilla bodybuilders competed among 50 athletes from Aruba, Antigua, Barbados, St Kitts, Trinidad, St Lucia, Guadeloupe, St Martin and St Maarten.

The Anguilla Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation express congratulations to the athletes on their huge success in St Maarten.
The Association also express thanks to FLOW for their sponsorship in assisting with the athletes travel to St Maarten.
