Omololu International School (OIS) was bursting with activity and enthusiasm as a record number of students participated with much success in the most recent National Science fair.
Students of 4th, 5th and 6th grade beamed with pride as they received trophies and awards for their stellar performances in a wide range of science categories at the 2015 National Science Fair. A full list of winning projects and students is shown below.
Students were awarded at a recent school assembly and encouraged to keep the spirit of inquiry and discovery alive through their continued interest and commitment to the blossoming area of Science and Technology.
OIS also proudly captured the titles of Best Grade 4 Project on the island, The Effect of Boat Shape on Capacity (Alexander Lake and Xander Bahadursingh) and Best Grade 6 Project on the island Tick Tock on the Solar Panel Clock (Nandi Edwards and Maria VillaGomez). Nandi and Maria also captured the distinguished honour of Best Science Project Overall on the island.
Special acknowledgements are given to Dr. Indira Singh and Teacher Lorraine Thompson for their invaluable support and guidance given the students.
