A few years ago, Mr. Hughes drew the ire of several of us when he flippantly said tht Anguilla was heading for failed state status. The direction in which we're heading right now might very well help to make Mr. Hughe's assertion a reality. We look around and see what is happening to places like Puerto Rico and we can't help but reflect on our own situation. Our government does not respect us and thereforefeels that we don't deserve to know. Well, as I've said many times, we don't have to reinvent the wheel. We dealt with one despot before and we have the template on how to deal with another. Do we stand aaround and watch our harad fought gains go up in smoke. Right we are not a democracy. we are more like an elective dictatorship/oligarchy. Our voices matter very little and it's as sthough, we arenow
