PRIMARY SCHOOLS ANNUAL TOURISM PROJECT

As part of the Primary Schools Annual Tourism Project, Grades 4M and 4R of the Orealia Kelly Primary School on, Thursday April 22, visited a few of Anguilla’s tourism businesses.
J & J Souvenir & Gift Shop located in Blowing Point (Ferry Dock) was one of those businesses that brought some knowledge to the students.
Mrs. Doreen Liburd, proprietor of J & J Souvenir & Gift Shop, gave a tour of her business to the students, and part of her stock is the Anguilla’s home-made Jam of ANGUILLA’S JAMMIN’ and Sea Salt of ANGUILLA SEA SALT COMPANY. She explained to the students that those products are locally made. The students were very excited about the visit. Tokens of appreciation were presented to each student by Mrs. Liburd.
As part of the tour , Zemi Beach House Resort & Spa, gave the students a tour of their luxurious property. Lunch was provided by one of Anguilla’s finest eateries Blanchards.
The students were grateful for the tour. Thanks to all that made it possible.
