Leadership at Every Level is designed to equip participants to take their business to the next level. Participants are encouraged to assess their leadership capabilities, inspire coworkers and develop a leadership plan to help the organisation reach its full potential in achieving its goals.

Twenty persons attended the training from Caribbean Commercial Bank, Shoal Bay Villas, Anguilla Fishermen Co-operative Society, the Department of Education and JTR Advance Security Services. Ten officials attended from the Department of Education, making this the largest group from a single department to ever attend this course.

Mrs. Rhonda Connor, Chief Education Officer said that it was important for her top officials to be trained together. She noted:

“It was indeed a pleasure for my Department of Education staff to participate in last week’s ‘Leadership at Every Level Course’ at the Anguilla Community College. It was an excellent refresher. The issues discussed were real and the strategies shared were cutting edge, practical and well-grounded in theory. The opportunities provided for reflection and sharing, for practice and forward planning made the course meaningful. Additionally, Mrs. Goddard’s keen attention to detail and her professional approach made the sessions very enjoyable. I would surely encourage staff of other departments to register for this course and would particularly recommend that they attend as a group. Doing so will provide an excellent opportunity for joint collaboration and planning on issues which can then be followed through at the end of the training.”

Other leadership teams are encouraged to register for Leadership at Every Level at the Anguilla Community College to share these benefits from the top, far beyond those usually sent to class.

Mrs. Goddard shared, “You just can’t ‘delegate’ leadership, and it can be astonishing to see previously bored, demotivated people come to life for fear of missing out on an exciting future. This may sound provocative, but if someone has a demotivated organisation – it could mean this class could help them more than they might think!”

The Anguilla Community College offers a wide range of short courses, Associate Degrees and TVET courses.
