Name: Sister Irma Nanton Carty

Name of Garden: Rockviille Gardens
Address: Northside.
(Story and garden pictures provided)
Backyard gardening has been a great passion of mine which I took up as a hobby. Inspite of my hectic and busy schedule I am still able to exercise time management in ensuring that my plants are well cared for and nurtured. To me it is an awesome pastime and great therapy, and I would encourage persons to do the same. It is hard work and one must have a love for farming but indeed FARMING IS A PROFESSION OF HOPE.

I wish to thank God for his blessings to me and all those special persons who assisted me in ensuring my garden was protected and other amenities done to enhance my surroundings. All individuals who encouraged me to take part in the competition. The judges as well who deliberated and thought my home garden was fitting of the accolade bestowed, and my daughter who took my picture. Thank you all and may God’s blessings be with you.
