March 8th, The Valley Anguilla – Digicel in celebration of International Women’s Day have dedicated efforts towards making their female employee’s feel Extraordinary by recognizing them for their commitment and hard work at Digicel.
The morning started off with a surprise of a woman’s day message available on each female’s desk. The employee’s then gathered for a toast and empowerment speech by Human Resource Manager Mrs. Annmarie Letang. “Today we are happy to recognize you all as the Extraordinary women you are” she said, she went on to speak more about her personal experiences as a woman, ways in which women should value their lives and general equality for all.
Thereafter, Ms. Kimara Richardson gave a speech and presentation to Digicel’s Extraordinary woman of International Women’s Day, Mrs. Marslyn MacDowall. Mrs. MacDowall was recognized for her commitment and longstanding service with Digicel, she was overjoyed about her achievement and also received a bottle of wine and a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
The entire female team was honored and in total shock of Digicel’s initiatives for a day they had considered a regular working Day.
Marketing Executive, Ms. Roxanne Webster then announced the news of an internal office spa day with Mr. Peter Vasilis, massage therapist of Cuisinart Golf Resort and spa. The entire female team enjoyed a relaxing day at work with a 10 minute private session with Mr. Vasilis along with treats, refreshments and other prizes.
