Police Investigating yet another Shooting Incident

The Royal Anguilla Police Force is investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident which occurred in The Valley in the area of The Coronation Ball Park around 9:00pm on Thursday 11th February, 2016.

Initial investigations into this matter revealed that the victim a 30 yr. old from Old Ta was about to enter his motor vehicle when someone shot at him. As a result he received injury to his upper body and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he received medical attention and was later discharged.

As the Police continues investigation into this matter they are appealing to members of the public who may have been in area of The Coronation Ball Park at the time of this incident and may have witnessed this shooting or have any information regarding this shooting to contact the Valley Police Station with such information. The telephone number is 497-2333 and asks for the Criminal Investigation Department or to speak to any Police Officer of their choice.
