Christian Council
Anguilla

And
Pastor Lucien Mcdonna
Chairman
Evangelical Association
Anguilla

Gods anointed

I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

It is as concerned citizen that I write to you with the hope that my views are accepted, respected and implemented in the interest of Anguilla.
Anguilla is bleeding profusely, is heading down a dangerous precipice and the Lords wrath will be poured out on the people unless we all change our wicked ways. “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of god”
This beloved country of ours has a curse over it and is in need of God’s blessings and mercy. The violence, the intolerance, the greed, the corruption, jealousy, indiscipline and satanic worshipers have reached epic proportions and God is not pleased with us.
The Church, the Body of Christ, has failed the people because the focus is skewed, deceitful and at times politically motivated. We continue to hear where is the Love we once had, where is the old saying we are our Brother’s keeper. No longer is there any care for the misfortunes of our neighbour. Selfishness has replaced concern and love.
Our Church Leaders, (some) are more concerned with riches, fame, membership and a large church than about the souls of the congregation and those in the highways and byways. The questions is when will it all stop. When will our Leaders realize according to the Bible that they will be judged harshly? If we go back in time our Church Leaders by their actions commanded and received respect. That is a thing of the past because by your fruits you will be known.
You my brothers, our Leaders are seen in most cases as ordinary individuals, some even regarded as wicked to the core, some as self centred and others trying hard to do what God commanded. The time has come to return to what god has requested of all Leaders. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

I am therefore calling on All Religious Leaders in Anguilla to select a Saturday and Sunday and CLOSE DOWN all Churches. I want you to lead this process and select a Neutral venue, come together in pray, fellowship, ask forgiveness of the Lord, fast and devise strategies for the rebirth of Anguilla. This will show our people that as Leaders with varying beliefs and denominations that you can come together in the interest of this Country. During this period you will request that your members shut themselves in a closet and pray or just pray.
It is my belief that Anguilla is in dire need of divine intervention. Let all of us swallow our pride and put on the armour and be real soldiers for the lord.
If you are of the belief or opinion that I am out of order or out of place in making this request, I make no apology because this was laid on my heart to say. If you are offended in any way you can disregard this communiqué.

I close reminding you that a child shall lead us.

With Love and Respect

Respectfully
Alkins Rogers
