Young Uprising inflicts heavy defeat on Masters F.C
On Saturday 13 February 2016, Uprising F.C displayed what they future will be like when they defeated the talented footballing Masters with a score line of 4:0. The tall, lanky, striker, Tagheek Fleming scored three goals sending dread into the hearts of the Masters. The masters responded by fortifying their defense but it was to no avail as the young Uprising attacked relentlessly.

Uprising’s midfield dominated control and Verne Smith was a mystro in distributing the football. Stephan Fiedtkou was a recipient of one of those passes that sealed the fate of their opposition with a fourth goal. The fast improving Uprising has left no doubt they will be a force to reckon with in the future.

Kicks United and the Roaring Lions F.C played to a draw
Longtime nemesis Kicks United and the Roaring Lions F.C tangled in a thriller that resulted in a 2 all draw. Kicks United with their usual flair pressed the matter with ‘K pump” and “Marley” leading the charge. However, the resistance of the Roaring Lions was fierce as they gave no free plays and was not afraid to play hard.

Glenvin Allen and Oliver “Screechy” Walker opened the Kicks United scoring account. These goals triggered a loud Roaring Lions response led by Jadden “Jay” Abbot and Jermal “Jelly” Richardson. With both teams locked in a dead heat, they tried out playing each other with pin point passes and stern defenses. In the end a draw was the only logical result.

Football action continues next weekend with Kicks United F.C will play Uprising F.C on the 20th February 2016 and the Roaring Lions will play masters F.C on the 21st February 2016. All matches will be played at the Ronald Webster Park Annex at 3:30 pm.
