Congratulations are in order for Bishop Samuel Daniel who attained his PhD in Counselling from Atlantic Course Theological Seminary, Daytona Beach, Florida, December 2015. The dissertation for his PHD was entitled An Investigation into the Perceptions of Anguillians with regards to Counselling Therapy on the Island.
Aside from being District Overseer, Bishop Daniel, who serves on a number of regional and Caribbean committees, is the Senior Pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy at West End, Anguilla; Head of the Counselling Department at the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School; an Adjunct Psychology Lecturer and Counsellor at the Anguilla Community College; a Counsellor at the Hughes Medical Centre; and a Fellow of Cambridge Commonwealth Society in the UK.
His previous qualifications include a Doctor of Ministries Degree in Biblical Counselling from Friends International Christian University in California; a Masters of Philosophy Degree from Cambridge University, England; a Certificate in Counselling from the United Theological College of the West Indies, Jamaica; a Bachelor of Education (Hons) Degree from the University of the West Indies; a Certificate in Teacher Education from the College of Further Education in St Kitts; and an Advanced Certificate in Health and Family Life Education from the UWI School of Continuing Studies.
