On December 23, 2015 a group of caring people worked along with the AXA Cares Food Bank putting together food packages for 117 families in need of some assistance for the Christmas holidays. This year it was possible to include candies and toys for all of the children.

fd1This is the fourth year that the Food Bank has been able to offer this assistance to families across the island. It is only with the caring and giving by others, including our expat community, that the Food Bank can continue.

The public is encouraged to buy a food item, or a prepackaged bag of food stuffs, for the food barrels located in Proctors, Ashleys, Lakes and Best Buy.

The Food Bank wishes to thank those who helped make this year’s effort a great success, including, Carole Harrigan, Anguilla Water Sports, Roy’s Restaurant, The Mahogany Lutheran Church and Mr and Mrs John Bedford.
