ANGUILLIAN YOUNG MAN KILLED IN ROAD ACCIDENT

Police in Anguilla are continuing their investigations into the circumstances in which 25-year-old Selwyn Horsford Jr., of Rock Farm, died in an unfortunate accident on the Jeremiah Gumbs Highway on Friday afternoon, January 8.
Horsford, the lone occupant of the vehicle he was driving, was found trapped in the extensively-damaged vehicle which reportedly appeared to have overturned. A police report stated that he was removed from the vehicle by officers of the Anguilla Fire and Rescue Service. He was transported by members of the Ambulance Service to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Young Horsford was a Chef at Malliouhana Hotel. He has been described as a very nice and endearing young man, filled with ambition and a positive pride of life. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Selwyn Horsford of Rock Farm. Following their immeasurable loss his parents and other family members have been inundated by a flood of condolences from members of the Anguillian community from all walks of life. Mr. and Mrs. Horsford have valued and acknowledged those kind sentiments with much thanks and appreciation.

To them, The Anguillian joins in expressing heartfelt sympathy and every good wish.
