LIME Anguilla and the Anguilla Tourist Board have again partnered this year to spread Christmas cheer to the households of various children across the island through gifts, cakes and packages of groceries.

The children, their parents and other family members, gathered at the Tourist Board’s office building on Tuesday, December 22, where they were addressed by Director of Tourism, Mrs. Candis Niles, and LIME’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Ms. Jade Reymond.

“It is always a pleasure for us to share at this time of the year and we want to wish all of you a wonderful Christmas and all the best for the year 2016,” Mrs. Niles told the children and their families. “The gifts that we have under the tree have come from a variety of places, and I know that a lot of care and attention went into the selection. I know that you all are going to be very pleased when you open up those gifts.”

The Director of Tourism continued: “Inside, we also have some packages for you, and I know that one of the highlights is going to be a beautifully-decorated Christmas cake that you will also enjoy.”

Ms. Jade Reymond said: “We want to thank the Anguilla Tourist Board for the opportunity to partner with the ATB at this momentous occasion. At LIME, we are always looking for opportunities to give back to the community and to be a part of the community…We are truly grateful and we wish everyone a beautiful season and a prosperous 2016 from the LIME family.”

Ms. Reymond added: “This year we were able to contribute about four thousand EC dollars to the Tourist Board towards the purchase of some of the gift items. The Tourist Board also partnered with other members of the community, but we have been partnering with the Board for quite some time and look forward to many more opportunities to continue to be a part of the community.”
