Commissioner of Police Mr. Paul Morrison, today Friday 13th November, 2015 administered the Oath of Office to 14 young persons making them the newest members of the Royal Anguilla Police Force.
The group which was selected by an interview process consists of both nationals and residents of Anguilla.
“Today I am very pleased to be swearing in the future of the Royal Anguilla Police Force,” said Mr. Morrison. “Many of you during your interviews indicated an interest in policing from a very early age; you now have an opportunity to build on those dreams and aspirations.”
“You are needed by the RAPF not only to fill the gaps on the front line but also to create opportunity for promotion of officers to Sergeants as well as create the capacity for the RAPF to develop training and policy,” concluded Mr. Morrison
The new officers are Mr. Craig Warrican, PC107, Mr. Ryan Adamson, PC 106, Mr. Tevin Fisher, PC 108, Mr. Guy-Vaughn Ruan, PC 110, Mr. Randol Richardson, PC 105 , Mr. Mervin Nisbett, PC 55, Mr. Andros Bowens, PC 112, Mr. Ryhkell Williams, PC 109 , Mr. Patmoore Hughes, PC 15 , Mr. Leon Chrisite, PC 113, Jenique Nedd, WPC 45, Ms. Ameka Richardson, WPC 18, Ms. Ashley Richardson, WPC 42 and Ms. Jody-Ann Dunn, WPC 5. Mr. Sean Isaacs, PC 24 who has been with the RAPF from August 2014 will also join the group as they travel to Barbados to undergo 6 months of Initial Police Training.
The recruitment of these 15 new officers, who leave for Barbados on Saturday 14th November, 2015 will bring the strength of the RAPF to 112.
