On June 15th 2015, Dwayne Hodge (Jr.), son of Merida Bartlette and Dwayne Hodge (Sr.), graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Accountancy and Management Studies, with upper second class honours from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Dwayne began his quest at Aberdeen University in 2011 after graduating from Sixth form of the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School program in 2010 with an Associates degree in Business Studies and a year of employment within Anguilla’s accounting industry.
During his studies at The University of Aberdeen he excelled and attained the Whyte Award for Best Performance in Accountancy in 2012 and received a facilitator certificate from the Aberdeen Business School in 2015. Subsequent to his graduation, Dwayne has been offered to become a trainee accountant with a Scottish accountancy firm known as Mint Accounting and to progress towards becoming a chartered accountant. He would like to express a heartfelt thanks to God, his family and well-wishers for their part in his success. In his own words he says, “Never underestimate the power of determination.”
