July 22ND, 2015- The Valley Anguilla Digicel, is delighted to be the sponsor of contestant #3, Ms. Chelsey Hughes in this year’s Miss Anguilla Queen Pageant 2015.
The beautiful 21-year-old was sashed as ‘Miss Digicel’ at the Digicel RED HOT SUMMER launch and thus far has been proudly representing her title.
This prestigious queen pageant is expected to take place on August 6th 2015 at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre, where Ms. Hughes along with 3 other contestants, will be vying for the tile of Ms. Anguilla 2015/2016.
Chelsey Hughes was born on the 21st day of December 1994 on her island home of Anguilla. From a very young age she distinguished herself as an ambitious, motivated and purpose driven individual and has, to this day, proven such in the fields of academics, sports, and recreation.
Over the years, Chelsey has developed a profound love for pageantry. With a devoted desire to maximize her potential, Chelsey’s participation in the 2015 Miss Anguilla Pageant is propelled by the words of American politician, diplomat and activist, Eleanor Roosevelt- who rightly asserted “The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences!”
Full of potential and hope for the future, Chelsey has promised Digicel that she will definitely ‘Be Extraordinary’ and is ready to dazzle the audience as she carries the Digicel brand with pride and joy.
Digicel’s Head of Commercial Kerchelle Jn Charles said: “Having such a well-rounded, talented, intelligent and articulate young lady who is focused and willing to take bold steps in advancing herself, are qualities Digicel espouses and we are truly happy to have branded Chelsey as “Miss Digicel” for Carnival 2015”.
As a part of Digicel’s commitment to support Ms. Hughes for the Miss Anguilla Pageant 2015, Chelsey was presented one of the latest handsets available at the Digicel Retail Store. A NEW 64 GB Samsung Galaxy EDGE, which was handed over by marketing executive Ms. Roxanne Webster.
