On June 23, thirteen students graduated from the Vivien Vanterpool Primary School under the theme: “Giving up Is Not an Option”. In the feature address presented by a past student of the school, Ms Karenda Brooks, she advised to the class of 2015 to “always keep their heads high, put their best into their education” so that they can achieve their careers.

Valedictorian Mr. Andrew Baijnauth, in his address, reminded his peers that “giving up is not an option” – one must always try and never say no. In whatever you go to do, do it at your best. The song I Believe was sung by the 2015 class. Each one of them recognized that they can be someone in the future.

With an enlightened programme a number of special awards were given to some of the graduands from persons within the community, various businesses, groups and teachers. Some of the awards were for academics, attendance, attitude and performance during the school year.
During the ceremony special tribute was paid to Mrs. Ursula Webster for the number of years that she has put into the school. The entire team wished her God’s continued blessings and strength as she goes from day to day.
