RAPF REPORT: 18 year old Arrested and Charges for Drug and Other Offences

The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Saturday 13th June, 2015 at 5:00 pm arrested an 18 year old young man of Shoal Bay for possession of 1.8 grams of Cannabis.
The alleged offender who was at the time the rider a motor cycle when stopped by the police was also charged for several traffic offences; driving without a driver’s license, driving a motor vehicle when it was not covered by a policy of insurance, driving an unlicensed vehicle, dangerous driving and failing to stop as well resisting arrest.
The defendant, who was charged with the offences, on Tuesday 16th June, 2015 was taken before the Magistrate’s Court where he was granted bail with one surety.
His conditions of bail are; he must surrender all travel documents to the police as well as report to the Valley Police Station every Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm.
The offender who is due back in court on the 23rd July, 2015 was granted bail in the sum of EC $25,000.00.
