“Family and Friends” in gospel concert organizer Mrs. Violet Martin, Lead Teacher at the D.O.V.E Centre (Developing Our Vision for Education) at the Alywn A. Richardson Primary (A.A.R.P.School), would like to publicly thank her family members and friends involved for supporting this initiative to raise much needed funds, on June 6th 2015. She would also like to thank the Principal, Ms. Marcia Brooks and staff of the A.A.R.P.School for their support. The gospel concert was very well received and enjoyed greatly by all persons in attendance.
On Tuesday, June 23rd 2015, a cheque of US $1300.00 was presented by Mrs. Martin to Ms. Marcia Brooks, Principal and Mrs. Jacqueline Jeffery-Connor, Education Officer Multi professional Support Services (EOMPSS), in the presence of family members, Mrs. Renuka Harrigan, teachers and students. The cheque is to be used primarily to purchase much needed pieces of equipment for the centre, which caters to students with medical, physical, social and learning challenges.
In receiving the cheque, both the Principal and the Education Officer were very appreciative of this kind gesture and thanked Mrs. Martin, family members and other persons involved in this fund raising effort.
